Plastermix Plaster mixes easily in a bowl or bucket and hardens to form castings using a wide variety of plastic molds, rubber molds, sand, and more. Once dry, castings can be decorated or painted to help bring your creations to life. The perfect craft for art or classroom projects, camps, or at home.
With this specially formulated art supply plaster, Plastermix Plaster is activated by adding 2 parts casting material to 1 part water.
Once activated mixture is poured into a mold or sand allow a minimum of 45 minutes to let harden and set. Hardening or drying times will vary with mold thickness.
For smaller moldings, less than 1” thick, allow 20 - 30 minutes.
For larger moldings, more than 1” thick, allow 45 – 60 minutes.
